Booked a photographer( Una Zhu) but she never replied to any of my messages. Upon further research, it looks like she actually moved away a long time ago and didn’t bother to take down her listing. Reached out to Angle Platform about this finding and requested a refund several times but they never replied. By the way, Una Zhu’s listing is still up, so obviously, Angle Platform doesn’t care about this and just wants to keep my money. Can see why they ask money up front. Don’t trust this company with your money. Hope Angle Platform gets closed down soon for their sketchy behaviors.

Update:
After 3 months from session day, I they finally paid me. Dear ANGLE - please stop playing victim and please stop blaming me! I gave you my personal data for money transfer once over 2 months ago, so please do not write that I gave you wrong data !!!! This is a lie!
Should I write and share screens, that you blackmailed me, that I would not be paid, if I didn't put down this review? Should I really?
This is not my fault, that you cannot transfer money via Western Union. It is simple, you take cash, go to WU office and transfer money. It took you 3 months to do that finally.

I attach a screenshot that Valerie blackmailed me, and how she was playing fool. Telling people in public that this is my fault, you really crossed the line! This is something that I am not going to tolerate.

I am trully dissatisfied with the platform. As a photogragpher, Who had a couple photoshoot on 30th June 2024, I finally got paid TODAY ?2nd October) after a long battle...firstly I got information from them, that their platform is undergoing a financial crisis.... they sent me email explaining their financial situation, and they claim that money has been paid to be, but it was not that time. later I had no feedback from them. They expected me to choose paypal for my money transfer, but I wanted Western Union. so I heard later on many Times that they have some issues with WU... than that I was paid...then it was cancelled.... over a week ago WU was cancelled again after 6 days of waiting for transfer. I told them that I would go the Police, I asked them to take cash and go to WU office, but the owner was in Emirates with no access to WU... so I had to inform the customers, and I had to force angle to go with cash to WU office and transfer me my money. They finally did that. what is more, they keep blaming me, that I am harmful, disprespectful, have no ubderstanding.... I had understanding for so many weeks and I was patient. I am very dissapointed because I delivered my photos at the beginning of July, and I needed to wait to be paid for 3 months ! This is unacceptable, therefore I would like to warn you PHOTOGRAPHERS, do not cooperate with this platform.
please be careful. I am very disappointed. They even blackmailed me, that I would not be paid, if I didn't put down the negative review! I have all screenshots and proves, ready to share.

This is my 2nd time using Angle while traveling aboard and I was extremely pleased with 1st experience with Angle, my photographer & photos!! Unfortunately my latest booking had to be cancelled due to my photographer was sick & no alt photographers in that same location or my upcoming locations. It’s now been over 30 days and I haven’t received a refund nor has customer service responded to any of my emails.

Per the FAQ’s on your website if the photographer isn’t available then a customer can choose to either accept an account credit for future photoshoots and/or a refund.

Still no refund and this company hasn’t even responded to the complaint that was filed via the BBB.

After seeing beautiful photos by Stas shared by a member in a Discover Italy Facebook page, I booked a one hour sunset session in Rome. The settings he picked are so beautiful and are away from the crowds. He was very easy to work with, generous with his time and his photos are gorgeous!

Our photographer Raul was wonderful to work with. We met with him in Florence on June 15, 2023. He showed us every shot after he took a set of pictures and was such a kind person too. Our photographer was lovely and the platform was fine to use. Sometimes it took a little longer to receive a response from customer service and book the initial session then I would hope but otherwise was very happy with our photos.

We had booked a photographer that we liked for a session. Unfortunately, the photographer was unresponsive so Angle Customer Support Team provided some alternatives. Personally, we weren't fond of them so we decided to ask for a refund since we had only liked that one photographer based on their profile. They were respectful and had agreed to provide a refund. We now have to continually email them to try and get this refund through. It's been more than 2 weeks (10 business days) and we have still have not gotten a refund.

I'm starting to be skeptical about why they ask for payment upfront rather than paying once both parties (client and photographer) have agreed to a date.

Update: After 11 business days, and reaching out via here and email on the 10th business day, we were able to get a refund. I'm very appreciative to the Support team here as I'm assuming most of the delay is caused by the financial team. I'm still of the opinion that they should get agreement between client and photographer on details before deducting payment as this could have been easily avoided.
