We have ordered from Geskus Photography many times for class pictures and sports pictures. The products are always high quality. Recently, we received our sports order and there were a couple of missing items. I reached out to Geskus through their website and received a response almost immediately! The representative apologized for the missing items and assured me that the items would be reordered and shipped. After confirming my mailing address and contact info, I received a confirmation email that the reorder had been placed. This all took place within the business day! This is very rare in these days! Really liked up until this year! Our daughter had fall school pictures and the photographer told her that her smile was to big, she brought home pictures and looked scared and like she's gonna cry! Geskus has been the company used for my kids' school photos for a long time. They have a decent array of package options-I LOVE the digital option. I've had to reach out to customer service a couple of times and each time they have been quick to respond and have resolved the issue just as fast. Overall, the kids' photos are lovely but sometimes I question what the photographer was thinking. My oldest daughter has glasses, and they always make her angle her head weirdly to avoid glare but then it's just an awkward photo. There have also been a few mishaps of very clearly out of place hair/jewelry type stuff that I feel a photographer (even a school photo one!) should be paying attention to!

Photograph “package” came in a book format with none of the prints cut out. They are all just a solid sheet and I now need to cut them all by hand. Emailed them asking what the deal was and got a reply saying thanks for the feedback. Better off going anywhere else. Will never use again.

Edit in response to reply from the business: well you can start by not just writing a basic response back to an issue that’s presented to your company. The way the pictures come should be disclosed up front. If you really want to do something “to help” feel free to issue me a refund.

I had to change my review cause the pictures are always great. No complaints. When you click the link it takes you to a bunch of options that when you are just trying to pick a background with multiple kids takes forever. As advertised on the booklet for additional backgrounds click link then it takes you to start logging in to purchase the prints . That is not fast nor easy should be a page on the site where you can view the backgrounds only especially if you are paying with cash . Simple change would help alot .

They are kind when I called as this is a new experience here. Every single year, all my kids have gone to school, photos have gone through Lifetouch, and honestly, I love not only the quality but the price and how quick they are as well. This year, 3 of my 4 school-aged kids are going through Geskus. I received an email that my son's are ready to view, yet they won't load. I can't do one large order because when I put the code in for my other children, they can't be found. The cost is almost double for one child on what I spent at Lifetouch. Lifetouch, I got 2 5×7's and the smaller photos, as well as a digital download straight to shutterfly for $16. Here, I only get a digital download for $24. Hopefully, the quality is better than it looks on my new phone. Even despite the price, I can't get the same standard background, and the photos won't be the same. The poses here aren't even the same for each child. My oldest is sitting, and at an angel, the other two are forward facing and standing. It looks really silly all together side by side. I just feel very disappointed as I look forward to getting school photos and displaying them every single year.

my daughter got her school photos taken over a month ago. i preordered the pictures the same day i received the preordering paper home from the school (not cheap either) on oct 30th everyone in her class was able to get their pictures they ordered sent home with them but not ours. i called & GPI told me her pictures “weren’t attached to her file” the lady i spoke with assured me they would get attached, reprinted & sent out to the school & id have them within 15 days. 15 days go by & no pictures. i called again, the lady i spoke with informs me there was NO notes made in their system about this issue & no reprints were ever done or sent to the school, so she ASSURED ME she would have them not only reprinted but sent to my home address instead AND she’d email me when they were shipped out. i confirmed my address & email with her to make sure there were no more issues. 2 weeks go by, no email & no pictures. i call again, the lady i speak with today says….NO NOTES WERE MADE IN THEIR SYSTEM ABOUT THIS ISSUE. & i have been again assured, they will be reprinted & mailed to my home. i have AGAIN confirmed, my email & my home address, hopefully the 3rd times the charm & i get my child’s VERY FIRST SCHOOL PICTURES she’s ever taken. (no refund or anything to make this right has ever been offered either.) very upset & disappointed with this whole experience.
