The Shepards: Aslan + Andria are truly a dynamic pairing. It is a joy to be in their presence and see them work their magic! THEY are magic! From the beginning, we initiated a client call with Aslan and we certainly overstayed our welcome because we enjoyed chatting with him so much. We were sold from our first interaction- not to mention their photography speaks for itself! We moved froward with doing our engagement and our wedding day pictures. I can’t recommend 2 things more: 1. Schedule the engagement shoot with them. It breaks the tension, allows for you to get to know each other, and work together to identify what you envision your wedding day photos to entail. We personally were able to study them and determine what we liked and what we would recreate on the big day. And 2. Request them both- have the two shooters. It made all of the difference on the day of. They were quite literally able to be in two places at once and capture all of the perspectives, groupings, and moments that were happening. They are both so incredibly talented and fun to work with- each having a unique eye to different elements. They have strong communication, timeliness, professionalism, and willingness to work across vendors. We happened to book the Shepards second to booking our venue- and they recommended the need for a strong wedding planner. As we moved through our journey, they were highly open, communicative, and supportive in working alongside our planners. This helped to make the day and the use of their time and craft the most effective and efficient! We are fortunate to still see and say hello to the Shepards- and are so thankful for the humans they are. You won’t be disappointed having them as your photography duo!

Wow. The absolute best photographers we ever could have dreamed of. From start to finish Aslan was absolutely incredible. He captured our destination wedding in the desert and was incredibly knowledgeable on the location and ideal shots. He was also a pleasure to be around. Our day had a few hiccups that delayed our timeline and as a panicking bride fearful of missing moments and getting them captured, Aslan calmly pivoted and guided us through the day.

He provided options for our timeline that allowed us to relax and enjoy the day, yet still get all of the photos we dreamt of having.

They beautifully captured our Catholic wedding ceremony as well as our take on a traditional Baraat.

We loved our gallery and loved sharing it with loved ones.

The Shepards were one of our first wedding vendors booked and my god were they worth the investment. Their process is simple, personal, and truly barrels of fun! From engagement photos to networking parties to wedding day coverage these two have you covered.

The Shepards MADE our wedding day. Picture this: you get engaged at the end of October, your dating anniversary is April 18th so yes, naturally you must get married on 4/20. Will the weather be nice? I hope so. Will the sunset portraits turn out well? Likely. Will it actually be mid 90s and you and all of your guests drip sweat the entire ceremony? Unfortunately.

Aslan and Andria are a part of our lives for the long haul. As friends, parents we look up to, and so much more I cannot recommend them enough. As many weddings do, we had a few mishaps. One of which being our wedding planner being sick the day of our wedding. Aslan and Andria to the rescue. GET THESE TWO A RAISE. They are both there for you and your partner at every twist and turn of the day. Their chemistry, laid back style, eye for detail, and so much more are just the start of the list of qualities we love about the two of them.

Just book them, you absolutely will not regret it.

He really knew how to remove the stress and keep the photo sessions playful and natural. He was an awesome hype-person and made us feel so good.
