When planning my wedding out of state, I was SO worried about finding a great photographer. I’m beyond thankful I found JJ! I got married on my grandparents ranch in northwest washington and JJ captured it so wonderfully. It was a beautiful June day, with wood fired pizza, locally grown flowers and so many family and friends. I wanted photos that showed movement, authentic moments, and ones I could look back on and just feel the day. It’s been almost a year and our wedding photos still feel just as lovely as the first time we saw them. Not only is she beyond talented, JJ was so great to work and plan with. She was thorough in our planning, and quick to respond to questions. She even was flexible enough to meet up with us while she was visiting Texas to do our engagement shoot! She made us feel so comfortable through the entire process and I’m so glad I trusted her with my wedding photography!

JJ is the BEST and my only regret is that I can’t have a second wedding with her as the photographer again- ha!

As a person, JJ is one of the kindest people we’ve interacted with. We didn’t realize how important it would be to have a photographer with whom we could be friends. Having this made our wedding day SO easy. We never felt awkward, staged, or posed. We truly felt we were hanging out with our friends, JJ and her incredible second-shooter, Jordan.

As for the photos, they are each a special prize and meaningful reflection of our day. We’ve only had sneak peeks at this point, but are already enamored with every single photo JJ has sent us. Her work is beautiful, objectively stunning and well-composed, and organic. No overly posed photos here!

We are still reeling from how standup our photographers were. JJ and Jordan, we cannot thank you enough!!!
