My husband and I took maternity photos with Sarah after falling in love with her work on instagram! We are both kind of awkward but Sarah made us feel so comfortable during the shoot. We had so much fun and Sarah was fantastic at telling us how to pose and what faces to make. The photos were turned around quick and are stunning. The moment I saw Sarah's work examples on her Instagram page I knew I wanted her to be my son's newborn photographer! She was amazing at handling him and making him comfy and posing him without a fuss during the photoshoot. All the prop choices she has are beautiful and she helped us decide which wrap our son looked great in with the basket we chose and I couldn't have been happier. I loved all the photos we got back and I 100% recommend her to any parent looking for family and newborn pictures!

Sarah is amazing! Her kindness and creative energy show up in her work. I couldn't believe the joy-filled images she gets from children and parents alike. Independence Art Studios has chickens and a sweet dog named Lola who will play fetch for hours, and a wonderful laid back nature setting that adds to the experience. The dads seem to like the cold beer in the fridge as well. Her patience is paramount, and something that can be a chore to a new mom turns into a beautiful experience. She shot images for my fashion business that were spot on! Can't say enough good things about her, love her!

Sarah did an amazing job with the photo session for my 1 year old! She was very patient and got lots of great pictures without taking too long so my baby wouldn’t get frustrated. She also included the smash cake in her package which was awesome so I didn’t have to worry about getting it. She also had a great neutral wardrobe that we got to use for the session as well as great props. She was really quick with the turnaround of the pictures which I really appreciated. I hope to book another session with her soon!

Sarah is a wonderful photographer! I originally found her on social media when I wanted to do a quick photo shoot of me with my 5 and 1 year old before baby boy arrives. I needed a place indoors because Houston is hot! Sarah offers mini sessions that are the perfect amount of time for little ones and they’re in her very cute studio! She had some cute chairs that my littles loved getting pictures in and the best part is that she is the only photographer so far that could get my 1 year old to crack a smile! We plan on returning for baby boys newborn shoot! We got photos done in FL with a different photographer (and a much higher price) and my husband commented that Sarah’s photos were much better. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for high quality images that are captured quickly!
