I have come here a few times and the service is always great. Developing film is $8 per roll but it's done well and it's done fast. The film sold is also reasonable in prices. It's great to have a local film shop where you can go in person.

If anyone is considering stopping by, they most certainly should.

WE LOVE TIM & ULMER PHOTO. Tim is an amazing guy! Kind, funny, and just all around fantastic. He does SO MUCH for the Community and is always involved in what makes Stockton great!

Ulmer Photo is always stocked with awesome cameras, photo gear, film.. anything you need- it’s probably there! Everything is always well priced, and there are both new and used items available for purchase. I will only and always get my film and supplies from Ulmer because it’s just always a great experience here and we should all support small business & local when possible! Mr Ulmer is the only person in the area that still does color film developing in-house in the area. His prices are more than reasonable and he will even scan your photos and but then into a thumb drive (for an additional fee, of course). He's got a good selection of reasonably priced 35mm SLRs and point-and-shoots cameras for sale. He also sells chemistry for C-41, standard D-76 black and white, and I recall seeing chemistry for E-6 slide film as well. Lots of camera accessories; lens caps, straps, tripods, film hoods, filters, and of course, 35mm and 120 film. And most importantly, Mr. Ulmer will answer all your film photography questions with a smile. Please support him and go to him for all your film photography needs!

I take all my color film to Ulmer for developing and sometimes scanning. He's so nice and knowledgeable. He even got me started developing my own black and white film. Check his used camera cabinet. Sometimes you'll find something neat in there. I 100% recommend.

Welp. I wish their google hours were updated. Drove here to drop off film for development and it’s closed. Unclear to me if it’s open as usual during the “community event.”

Quick turnaround + kind and helpful owner!

Been coming here for the past ~1.5 years for developing film. Turnaround is impressive. Dropped off a roll at around 11am and picked the developed pictures at around 1:30pm.

One of my rolls came out super underexposed (my fault) a while back, and he explained to me how I should prevent the same issue from happening.

Super happy and grateful we have such an awesome photo store in Stockton!

Incredibly helpful. I brought in an old super8 camera that was not operating correctly, hoping it could be fixed. Since my camera required ultra-specialists to be fixed, he straight up gave me a 8mm camera to use in the meantime while I have my broken one sent out to be fixed! I will definitely be going back. Short and to the point, best experience I've had!
